Like when you are getting pulled over by a police officer because your lights are flicking on and off because your paid off car is having it's monthly fru ha ha... (I know it's not a word).... Because you probably know the police officer from some crisis at work... and he will not mind when you approach his vehicle holding a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich in your hand while telling him that you need a ride to the bus barn where your coach husband's truck is parked. He will also laugh as your 5 year old asks if we are going to jail and tells him 3 times that she always wears her seat belt. You breathe a sigh of relief when she doesn't mention that your seat belt is sometimes not fastened. PHEW. Then you know that your car is probably safe on main street tonight with no alternater working and that you can leave your grapes and a change of clothes in there and probably no one will steal it. Sometimes that is nice.

Sometimes it's nice to live in a small town
