If you are wondering about things to do in Oregon... we had a full weekend of excitement. Coos Bay and Bandon offered us great basketball games, high school gyms with expanded seating and great refreshment items. We had a fine representation of the EOL as several of our league schools advanced into the final 8 and Vale brought home the trophy. We are happy for them as good sports always are. Burns lost their 2 playoff matches to fine teams and made a valiant effort. Shelby is already planning to clear the snow off the court to practice for next year. Stef is moving on. Could anything be tastier than clam chowder and fish purchased right on the coast? And our room with the ocean view was spectacular also.
Meandering home we went as far north as possible and found grandma and grandpa and Dave... home and ready for a quick visit. The girls were so happy to relax and skype with Uncle Jared, and little Jonas. They also caught a late show (Justin Beiber) and we all had ice cream with berries (that I didn't have to pick)with nuts and chocolate. Other highlights included a little Old Navy time, some duet playing and some computer photo booth fun. (see above)
The 16 total hours in the car was okay too. It was rather funny to hear the older girls trying to negotiate with the crying 6 year old......
