I'm so tired right now.. In a good way. We just returned from an awesome trip to Utah. So many things made it wonderful. But here are the top ten things about it.
1. Shirley and Lynn celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary and shared the experience with us lunching together at Homestead.
2. We got to visit Grandma Payne at her super swanky top notch nursing home. We fed the ducks and rejoiced in her improved health.
3. We met our new niece in laws Amy and Liz. They are both amazing. We also enjoyed dinner that night with the Merkleys.
4. We got to visit Dan and Kristin and their kids. It was super fun and too short... but worth the drive to Payson.
5. Michelle drove in from Vegas to join the party. We hit the waterpark with her and Marissa, Shauna and Mason. We had the usual laughs one has with Michelle. She is ultra fun.
6. The kiddos are all on spiritual highs. Shelby and Hailey spent a week at EFY. This should last at least 10 days. Yeah for us!
7. We saw our dear friends Karen, Emily and James. We caught a movie together and also shared pizza and some great visiting and Brookie had some best friend time.
8. On our way home we stopped in Salt Lake and toured Temple Square.
9. Our awesome friend Sheyanne saved us from navigational stress by using her GPS thingy on her phone and also sharing her vast collection of music. (I only made about 25 U-Turns during the trip.. which is lower than it could've been).
10. Stefani got to tour BYU and also drive around Provo.. which made her extra excited about leaving to attend college in 3.5 weeks. And she had a date or two.
Now it's time to wash and pack for the next trip.
