I am at work tonight so I will post a little about our week. We are all doing fairly well. Kris and Hailey and Shelby are in La Pine at a basketball tournament. We try to not do weekend tournaments but once a year (those that include a Sunday game day). I didn't go this year as tomorrow (really later today as it is 1am) is ward conference and I have lessons and organ commitments. I stayed home with my new transportation coordinator (Stefani). She successfully transported Brooke and Amanda around town today picking up the shipment of girlscout cookies and also doing some deliveries. She also drove me to work tonight and is babysitting alone at home. She will pick me up in the morning. What a big help!!
Kris texted that his games were very good today. Hailey is refusing to play tomorrow as she will not break the Sabbath (good for her) and she is also going to join her friend Sheyanne in prayer (shey is not allowed to play on Sunday).
In appliance and vehicle news... the stove/oven is still nonfunctional. 10 days with microwave, skillet and take out cooking has even me longing for a home cooked meal. The Expedition is in the high school parking lot after it's latest glitch .. (Ford Garage on monday) and the truck's doors now no longer open from the inside. BUT we still have no car payment... yeah for us. Kris managed to get to LaPine in a friend's borrowed truck. Thank heavens for small towns.
Brooke wrapped up her phenomenal Park and Rec season with a record 10 points in her last game. Everyone was cheering for her!!! She was an animal. the best part was the major clapping and cheering for herself that she did after each basket!!!
Amanda was line leader Thursday. What a relief!!!! She also got to take Chocolate the Moose home with her. It was a banner day. Last night she danced with the dance team out on the floor and did the Macarana. She has absolutely no fear. She will even order food at the snack bar and at restaurants if you give her money. She clears her throat and yells until someone looks down.
Shelby was sick this week, alot and had to miss the Valentine's dance. Hailey went, however and danced with Seth.
Wiley is still alive and his health seems somewhat improved.
Kris has been texting me when he can't call me as we are working on enhanced communications!!! Not much else to say except that my brother Jared needs to email me. THE END
